More Chinese tourists expected to visit Laos

A number of mega-projects currently being built in Laos should serve as facilities to accommodate the rising number of tourists from China. Some of the notable infrastructure projects include the construction of the expressway and the almost US$6 billion railway line that will link Vientiane to the Chinese border. In addition, Chinese firms are investing in tourism-related infrastructure projects in several provinces of Laos that could draw more Chinese visitors.
